Supervised hours can be logged together in a package or separately. You’ll also put your practical skills to the test with real-world experience in our simulated work environment, tailor made to suit your requirements.

In this course you’ll learn about:
Analysing skin conditions
Designing and reviewing IPL and laser treatment programs for pigmented and vascular lesions, skin rejuvenation and acne
Consultation techniques
Performing and assessing test patch
Delivering safe and effective treatments
Selecting and using laser / IPL technology
Pre and post treatment advice
Documentation requirements
Compliance with regulatory requirements
Includes all consent forms and marketing tools

Course structure:
Laser and Intense Pulsed Light for Skin Rejuvenation and superficial pigmented lesion treatment, including 50 supervised hours for laser use licence.
Laser and Intense Pulsed Light for superficial vascular lesion treatment, including 75 supervised hours for laser use licence
Laser and Intense Pulsed Light for hair reduction, including 25 supervised hours for laser use licence.

Study Mode – Flexible practical hours: Face to face

Prerequisites: required for trainee licence use (available at BTTA)
